Filson, a heritage outdoor apparel brand, wanted to explore the addition of external branding across their product line for the first time in over 100 years.

The challenge presented was to signal new customers without upsetting longtime brand followers who were used to the way things had always been. The solution I developed is a modular system that could expand or contract to fit the style and tradition of various garments and product categories.
